General conditions

All information given by us through this website and any other communication is described and given in good faith and should any part of your holiday not be as described Select Malta will accept to provide compensation as deemed necessary to
the client. All services and agencies used to provide for all or part of your holiday
arrangements have been secured with proficient and reputable companies following the national laws of this country.

Complaints about any part of the holiday arrangements are to be reported immediately to Select Malta, who have the responsibility in dealing with these as soon as they occur. Select Malta have every intention in keeping their clients satisfied with all arrangements, but cannot be held responsible for compensating clients for complaints that are not reported immediately.


Personal insurance

Select Malta strongly recommend a suitable insurance coverage to its client, although every assistance possible will be given to Select Malta clients during their stay. Insurance coverage should cover the following. :

* Personal Accident
* Delayed departure
* Loss of deposit, cancellations and curtailment charges
* Medical and emergency expenses (although a reciprocal agreement does exist
between certain nationalities and the Maltese Health Service)
* Loss of baggage, money or any other personal belongings
* Personal liability

Visas

Select Malta will advise all clients if a visa is required for their holiday arrangements. Select Malta provides a free service for all its clients to obtain visas (for those nationalities where visas are issued in Malta) and clients are advised to apply for these at least 3 weeks before arrival in Malta. Although Select Malta do not charge processing fees a charge of Lm 10.00 is required to be paid on arrival in Malta to the Malta Immigration police.

Payment methods

A 35%* deposit has to be paid on reservation of any service. After the deposit is paid we will be able to confirm the booking.
Balance of payment is to be paid 14 days prior to departure, if this is not done the cancellation fee shall apply.
Reservations made within the 14 days prior to departure will require full payment to be effected immediately.
Payments can be made via wire transfer (SWIFT TRANSFER), bank draft directly to our bank account as is given. Please email us for details.
* Deposit may vary according to the period prior to booking and the amount involved

Credit card payments will incur a 3% charge on the total amount.

Release periods:

14 days of arrival date during the low season (November to April - excluding festive seasons)
28 days of arrival date during the high and festive seasons ( May to October - including Christmas , New Year's and Easter Festive seasons)

Cancellation charges

If cancellation occurs before release period, the cancellation fee will be the deposit paid.
If cancellation occurs within release period, the cancellation fee shall be full charge of the services ordered.

Rates

All prices quoted are in Malta Liri and are fixed according to the booking. Rates can also be quoted in different currencies according to the current rate of exchange and these can vary from day to day. Other currency rates are applied on the day the booking and invoice is received, and will not vary after this.
